Hello, we’re Robin and Sarah. In October 2021 we quit our jobs, packed our lives into a campervan and drove to an olive grove on the Greek island of Ithaca.
We spent the autumn caring for trees that’ve been in the family for generations. The grove has been abandoned for over a decade so we’re in the process of coaxing it back into full production.
In the meantime, we’ve been picking olives all over Ithaca to produce our extra virgin olive oil.
We would say this, but it is a really special oil. In part because of why it was made, but mainly because of how. Every olive was picked by hand, early in the season and cold-pressed in an organic certified mill. The ‘Thiako’ variety, native to Ithaca’s ancient Venetian groves, has stamped its personality on every batch.
It is a healthy and flavour-packed oil, bursting with character and Ithacan bite.
We really enjoyed making it. We hope you enjoy tasting it just as much.
